Pony-Kennenlernen – Ein erstes Abenteuer für Kinder und Eltern

Unser Pony-Kennenlernen ist ein besonderes Erlebnis für Kinder und ihre Eltern. Denn der erste Kontakt mit Ponys und Pferden ist nicht nur für die Kleinen wichtig – auch Eltern spielen eine zentrale Rolle. Sie sind Vorbilder im Umgang mit den Tieren und entscheiden später, welche Reitschule oder welcher Stall der richtige ist. Deshalb lernen bei uns nicht nur die Kinder, sondern auch die Eltern eine Menge über die Welt der Pferde.
Gemeinsam holen wir das Pony von der Weide, bürsten sein Fell, legen das Equipment an und bereiten es fürs Reiten vor. Dabei erkläre ich spielerisch und anschaulich, worauf es im Umgang mit Ponys ankommt – von der Körpersprache bis hin zur richtigen Pflege.
Beim Reiten selbst gehe ich individuell auf jedes Kind ein: Ob mutig, vorsichtig oder noch etwas zurückhaltend – hier gibt es keinen Druck, nur Freude am Pony-Erlebnis. Wer sich (noch) nicht auf den Ponyrücken traut, darf stattdessen nebenherführen, streicheln oder einfach nur beobachten.
Das Pony-Kennenlernen dauert je nach Anzahl der Kinder ca. 2 Stunden und kostet 50 Euro pro Kind und 10 Euro für jedes weitere Kind. Damit es für das Pony entspannt bleibt, sind maximal 3 Kinder gleichzeitig dabei.

Pony Meet & Greet – A First Adventure for Children and Parents

Our Pony Meet & Greet is a special experience for children and their parents. The first contact with ponies and horses is not only important for the little ones – parents also play a central role. They serve as role models in how to interact with the animals and later decide which riding school or stable is the right fit. That’s why not only the children learn with us, but parents also gain valuable insight into the world of horses.
Together, we fetch the pony from the pasture, brush its coat, put on the equipment, and prepare it for riding. During this time, I explain in a playful and easy-to-understand way what matters when handling ponies – from body language to proper care.
During the riding session, I respond individually to each child: whether brave, cautious, or still a little shy – there is no pressure here, only the joy of the pony experience. If a child doesn’t feel ready to sit on the pony (yet), they can instead lead the pony, pet it, or simply observe.
The Pony Meet & Greet lasts approximately 2 hours, depending on the number of children, and costs €50 per child and €10 for each additional child. To keep things relaxed for the pony, a maximum of 3 children can participate at the same time.

Das Pony-Kennenlernen kann ein einmaliges Erlebnis sein oder der Ausgangspunkt für weitere Aktivitäten – ganz nach Interesse, Erfahrung, Talent und Aufenthaltsdauer.
Da wir ein kleiner, persönlicher Betrieb sind, nehmen wir uns bewusst Zeit für jedes Kind und jedes Eltern-Kind-Gespann. So können wir individuell auf Wünsche und Bedürfnisse eingehen und eine ruhige, hochwertige und altersgerechte Begleitung ermöglichen.

Alle Aktivitäten stehen sowohl unseren Gästen als auch Nicht-Gästen offen. Gemeinsam schauen wir, was am besten passt – immer im Tempo des Kindes und mit Rücksicht auf die Ponys.
What happens after the Pony Meet & Greet?
The Pony Meet & Greet can be a one-time experience or the starting point for further activities – depending on interest, experience, talent, and length of stay.
As we are a small, personal operation, we consciously take time for each child and each parent-child pair. This allows us to respond individually to wishes and needs and provide calm, high-quality, and age-appropriate guidance.
